Leonard has yet to win this honor in his career. He finished third in the race last season after averaging 25.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. Leonard has become the focal point of the Spurs on offense and that isn’t likely to change this season.

LeBron James is a four-time MVP winner during his career, but the last award came in the 2012-13 season with the Miami Heat. James is coming off a 2016-17 season where he averaged 26.4 points, 8.7 assists and 8.6 rebounds per game.
