On December 29th, Rampage Jackson will return to Japan and face off with his former Pride Fighting Championship colleague, Fedor Emelianenko. It’s a fight that’s nearly two decades in the making. With just a few days until the big fight, now is the perfect time to check out the Rampage vs. Fedor odds that are available online!
This is expected to be an extremely competitive fight. No one can say with confidence how it will play out. Let’s breakdown this fight, and discuss each man’s path to victory.
At these odds, I simply can't pick Fedor, who's lost his aura of invincibility and maybe some of his passion for the sport. In a straight-up pick, sure, but as long as Hendo is a nearly 2-1 dog. Both men are knockout artists. Fedor likely holds the advantage on the ground. Jackson is the more technical striker. In reality, this fight could go either way. BetOnline.ag, one of the best online sportsbooks in the world, is now offering Rampage vs. Fedor betting odds. At the moment, Fedor Emelianenko is listed as the -120 betting favorite.
There’s a History Between Rampage and Fedor
There was a time when Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Fedor Emelianenko were considered the best fighters in the world. Both men had incredible careers fighting in Japan. It’s safe to say that both are now past their fighting primes, yet they’re still capable of beating world-class opponents.
Jackson burst onto the spotlight back in July of 2001. At that time, he was a relatively unknown fighter taking on one of Japan’s most revered combat athletes, Kazushi Sakuraba. He lost the fight via submission, yet his effort was enough to immediately endear him to the Japanese public.
Over the next five years, Rampage continued to compete under the Pride banner. He recorded several major wins over opponents such as Kevin Randleman, Chuck Liddell, and Ricardo Arona. Quinton failed to win the Pride championship, yet he was always a fighter to watch.
Fedor broke onto the MMA scene in the early 2000s, as well. By 2003, he was the Pride heavyweight champion. Many UFC betting experts considered him to be the best fighter in the world. He went undefeated for an incredible eight years before suffering three straight losses in Strikeforce.
Both these men were icons during their runs in Japan. Fans never got to see them face off while they were in their primes, yet they’re facing off this weekend back in their old stomping grounds through the Bellator MMA promotion.
Who’s entering as the favorite?

BetOnline.ag, one of the best online sportsbooks in the world, is now offering Rampage vs. Fedor betting odds.
At the moment, Fedor Emelianenko is listed as the -120 betting favorite. He’s been fighting at heavyweight for longer and arguably has the better resume. Fedor lost his last fight via knockout, yet many feel he’ll secure the victory over Rampage this weekend.
Rampage Jackson is one of the scariest knockout artists of all time. He fought the majority of his career at 205 pounds before making the move up to heavyweight. Since that time, he’s gone 2-2. Rampage enters with odds of +100.
The first few minutes of this fight will tell everything. If Fedor is able to use his pressure and secure a takedown, he should get the easy win. If Rampage can stay on the outside and use his crisp boxing, he can get the KO.
This is a fight between two real MMA legends. If you’re around this weekend, make sure to check it out!
Rampage Will Enter the Bout At 260 Pounds
Fedor Werdum Odds
Rampage Jackson has faced his share of criticism for not taking training seriously. There was a time when he was one of the fittest and most athletic fighters at 205 pounds. Once he moved up to heavyweight, however, it appeared that he pushed his cardio exercises to the side.
According to Sam Calavitta, one of the best strength and conditioning trainers in the world, Rampage is taking this fight extremely seriously. He’s put on serious muscle heading into the bout with Fedor and will step into the ring at 260 pounds. Calavitta spoke about Rampage’s preparation to the media this week.
“We’re going to bring him basically around 260. He’s a big man. He’s come such a tremendously long way. I don’t want weight to be an issue,” he said. “I have no doubt he can go three rounds and I have no doubt he has the power.”
Calavitta also claims that Rampage eventually plans to move back down to 205 pounds.
“His ultimate goal is for me to take him back down where he started at 205,” Calavitta said. “It’s going to be a process. I think to do it correctly it would take about a year. But we’re definitely heading in the right direction and he’s all on board. He has worked his ass off for us and give us everything he has.”
