Here is how you can watch Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin and where you can stream it on online, phone, tablet and TV and/or online.

It has been just more than a year since the sporting world stopped what they were doing and tuned in to the biggest pay-per-view event in recent memory. You probably know what I'm talking about without even mentioning it; that's how captivating it was. If you don't, well shame on you for missing out. I'm talking about the Floyd Mayweather vs Connor McGregor 'fight' that took place on Aug. 26, 2017. Now, while it was more of a sideshow than a legitimate boxing match, it did serious pay-per-view numbers and got boxing fans wanting more.

Well, on Sept. 15, 2018, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, boxing fans will get what they want. Canelo Alvarez will step into the ring against Gennady Golovkin in what boxing fans are calling a highly-anticipated rematch.

Their first bout couldn't have happened at a better time. Both boxers were at the peak of their powers and had their eyes set on the biggest of prizes. That's why what transpired on Sept. 16, 2017, was shocking and unfortunate for both opponents. The fight ended in a draw. One judge scored the bout 113-115 in favor of Golovkin, and another scored it 118-110 in favor of Alvarez. The deciding judge scored the bout 114-114, and just like that the result is history. Both fighters feel they got robbed of a deserved win, and the boxing world was left scratching its head.

Before we get into breaking down the fight and previewing the undercard, a little background on the rematch would be a good idea. The rematch was supposed to take place on May 5, but Alvarez tested positive for a banned substance called Clenbuterol in February, thus postponing the rematch. Since then, Golovkin and his camp have thrown increasingly vicious verbal assaults at the Canelo camp, claiming that Alvarez knew what he was taking and tried to cheat on purpose. Alvarez claimed the failed drug test was from 'tainted' meat, but that has not been proven either way yet. With all the back and forth between these two fighters and the personal attacks, more so than the standard trash talking, this fight feels personal and it should live up to its billing as the most highly-anticipated fight of the year.

Canelo vs. GGG Undercard

Boxing Odds Canelo Vs Ggg Pacquiao

Co-Main Event: WBO Jr. Middleweight Title
Jaime Munguia -5000 vs Brandon Cook +1400

Munguia is a 21-year-old prodigy out of Mexico who checks in with a record of 30-0 with 25 wins coming via TKO. He successfully defended his WBO title against Liam Smith and now must face Brandon Cook, a 32-year-old fighter from Ajax, Ontario Canada. Cook owns a 20-1 record with 13 wins coming via TKO.

Middleweight:

David Lemieux -190 vs Gary O'Sullivan +150

Lemieux is a 29-year-old fighter from Montreal, Quebec, and he owns a 39-4 record with 33 wins by TKO. He won his last bout against Karim Achour via unanimous decision and will be looking for a similar result in this one. His opponent, Gary O'Sullivan, checks in with a record of 28-2, with 20 of those wins coming via TKO. He hasn't lost since 2015, which makes that six consecutive victories.

Super Flyweight:
Roman Gonzalez (off) vs Moises Fuentes (off)

Gonzalez is 31 and hails from Nicaragua. He has an impressive 46-2 record, including 38 wins by TKO. He enters this fight on a two-match losing streak and will be eager to get the job done. His opponent, Fuentes, is 30-years-old and owns a record of 25-5-1 with 14 TKO's. Much like Gonzalez, Fuentes has lost three of his last four fights, so he'll be motivated to emerge victorious.

Tale of the Tape: Alvarez vs Golovkin

Canelo Alvarez is 28-years-old and hails from Guadalajara, Mexico. His professional boxing record is 49 wins, one loss and two draws. Of those 49 wins, 34 of them have come via TKO. And besides his latest fight, which ended in a draw, he hasn't lost since his 2013 fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. Alvarez stands 5-feet-8 and will weigh in at approximately 163 pounds. He has a 70.5-inch reach and will fight from the orthodox stance.

Gennady Golovkin is a 36-year-old boxer out of Karaganda, Kazakhstan, who currently resides in Los Angeles. His professional boxing record is blemish free. He has 38 wins, including 34 TKO's, zero losses and one draw in his last fight with Alvarez. He has already fought once this year - in May against Vanes Martirosyan - and he secured a KO win in the second round. Golovkin stands at 5-feet-10.5 inches tall and will weigh in at approximately 159 pounds. Golovkin will also fight from the orthodox stance and has a reach of 73 inches.

Canelo vs. GGG Odds, Fight Analysis and Prediction

If the first fight is any indication, we know what to expect for the most part. It will be Golovkin's prerogative to dictate the pace of the fight and be the more aggressive fighter. At 36 and with a fight already under his belt this year, Golovkin checks in as -155 favorite , and the total rounds is set at 'over' 9.5 (-350). One has to wonder how Alvarez will be in his first fight after serving his six-month suspension and fighting for the first time since last year. If Alvarez can once again land effective counter-punches and throw solid combinations then he should be able to keep Golovkin at bay and stay off the ropes - a place Alvarez can't afford to be for the majority of the fight. Both fighters have a high boxing IQ, so I'm expecting both guys to come into this fight with a solid game plan, a Plan B and possibly Plan C on how they want to attack each other. Alvarez will be best served to start fast and avoid putting it in the judge's hands as many pundits think Golovkin won the early and middle portion of the previous bout by dictating pace and utilizing his jab effectively. The Kazakh not only threw 132 more jabs than Canelo, but he also landed nearly 30 percent of them, in comparison to just 23 percent from the Mexican. If that trend continues and Golovkin can out-punch his opponent, he should be the one with his arms raised at the end of the bout.

Another key component to this this will be the reach advantage that 'GGG' has over Alvarez. When a fighter has the reach advantage and the presumed power advantage then they would be wise to utilize that reach and try to prevent their opponent from getting inside and going to work. Golovkin's' high boxing IQ should help him understand his role, and because of that we like Golovkin to emerge victorious (officially) in this bout.
